Nothing can quite uplift our spirit in quite the same manner as education does. With the same belief, Maratha Vidya Prasark Samaj, Nashik has been established in 1914 and working with the motto,
“बहुजन हिताय, बहुजन सुखाय” i.e. for the ‘Wellbeing and happiness of masses’.
The Maratha Vidya Prasarak (MVP) Samaj is one of the most prestigious institute creating the landscape of education within Nashik District since last 108 years. This museum elucidated the motto and high-lighted the perspective towards education as a means of social wellbeing.
Principal Message
I completely believed that, “If a plant is carefully nurtured by a gardener, it will become good and produce better fruits”. Our vision is for each child to develop curiosity of learning, discover their interest and grow in their love of learning. Due to this vision school work to build a safe, respectful and nurturing environment focused on maximizing each child sense of wellbeing and acquisition of skill for life while each child’s intellectual, social, physical and moral development in an academic rich environment.
Education is not just a process of giving knowledge for a future job but a lifelong process which creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide one’s life in a right path. Parents, Students and the school authorities are a team and we have to complement each other’s efforts.
At Horizon Academy we help our children to realize, understand & explore their talent. In order to do this, the parents and the school authorities must work together to inoculate certain values live, equality, Unity and honesty, respect in the student mind.
About School
Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’s Horizon Academy (Previously called Adarsh English Medium School) is a well known English Medium school in Ozar, Niphad Taluka. It was established on 8th June 2008. Mrs. Kamal Jadhav madam was the first headmistress of the school. Earlier the school was held in the campus of MVP’s Abhinav Balvikas Mandir Ozar. After that new building was constructed & school shifted in new building in Jan 2017. Extension of school building was started again to create facilities like multipurpose hall , well equipped Science lab, Computer Lab library, Library etc. Inauguration of this well constructed building took place in presence of the Ex MLA Mr. Anil G Kadam, former Sarchitnis Hon. Smt. Neelimatai Pawar Madam, then former director of MVP for Niphad taluka Hon. Mr. Pralhad Dada Gadakh & other members. Since beginning school tried to develop curiosity of learning, discover interest in children’s mind.
