Another unique day-long program for grandparents was held on September 10 at Horizon Academy, Ozar (MIG) School. The event was organized with the aim of enabling the grandchildren to experience the doting grandparents of today due to the nuclear family system. School Principal Nirmala Jadhav, Vice Principal Bhagyashree Ladole, Coordinator Gurupreet Kaur Khatri, Mangal Kurhade and other teachers were present on this occasion.
On the occasion of this program, the grandparents of the students got an opportunity to come to the school once again. Students and teachers presented various cultural programs based on the relationship between grandchildren and grandparents. Competitions were organized to showcase their talents. On this occasion, the yoga teacher of the school, Tejaswini Lahamge spoke about the importance of regular exercise, yoga and reading for a healthy and pleasant life and organized a yoga nidra session. With the help of VasantraoPawar Medical College, Nashik, a free eye examination of the grandparents was organized. He also told them to overcome health and family problems and pursue hobbies and try to use their experience and knowledge to help other needy people in the society.
